On July 13 1961, my father, Cl\u00e9ment Fleury, decided to leave the company Saguenay Electric where he worked as a lineman for many years in order to start his own company and take on contracts for Saguenay Electric which later became Hydro-Quebec. Electro Saguenay was therefore created before Hydro-Quebec\u2019s nationalization. Even though Electro Saguenay\u2019s beginnings were very modest, today we have become a thriving company which has contracts throughout the province of Quebec and we are very proud of our accomplishments.<\/p>\n
I would like to thank our long standing customers, our new customers, our business partners and suppliers as well as all of our Directors, Foremen, Project managers and all of our employees, who have allowed us to push our limits and to always surpass ourselves.<\/p>\n
Congratulations and many thanks to my father who will be turning 92 on July 31st<\/sup> and who is always in great shape. A warm thanks to my mother who has passed away and who helped my father during the critical start up period of the company. \u00a0Thanks for having worked so hard to lead the way. Thanks for having instilled in us the precious values of honesty and justice which have always guided our work and our actions. Many thanks also to my brother R\u00e9jean who was President and CEO for many years and who has now retired since 2009.
